just saw the update of the Asian Cup Group E qualifier between china and singapore, cannot believe that singapore lose to china at the last minute of the match. And the goal come from penalties given by spore. even though spore lose to china, but i think that the standard of spore soccer team has improved. before the match,a lot ppl think spore sure trash by china 3 goals or more.after the match, many ppl dun dare to look down on spore team. hope that spore will win in the return leg of the match held in singapore national stadium on 6 sep 2006. i will be there to support the national team.

A last-gasp penalty by Shao Jiayi saved China's blushes and his coach's head as the Asian giants stole a 1-0 win over Singapore at the Tianjin Teda Stadium.The gallant Lions were just seconds away from an upset as they had held their own against the hot favourites, who were down to 10 men in the second half.
Lions' substitute Ashrin Shariff had a glorious chance to score after coming on in the dying minutes but his header went just wide before Shao's late conversion plunged like a dagger into the Lions' hearts.
